The second survey shows how this exchange experience incremented my insights related to culture knowledge, offering , cultural self-knowledge, and sustainability thoughts. The results indicate a more positive self-assessment in terms of cultural self-knowledge and sustainability thoughts than the first initial reflections. This has increased my understanding of my individual self-perception and growth areas.

These results show to what extent I am motivated and open to engage with people with a different cultural background (cultural motivation), my willingness to cross borders (for a future career) and the extent to which I want to take action for the environment.

The comparative analysis demonstrates the consistency in my motivation to connect with diverse cultures. The second survey provides a higher result that reinforces the initial reflection. Besides, it is clear that after this experience my desire of travelling has noticeably increased. Besides, in terms of sustainability feelings, both surveys align in emphasizing the positive outlook and commitment to helping the planet.

These results are related to my personal strengths and my beliefs regarding culture. A ‘multicultural personality questionnaire’ was used to help me assess my cultural empathy, open-mindedness, social initiative , emotional stability and flexibility.

While some aspects remained stable, such as cultural empathy and open-mindedness, some changes in social initiative and emotional stability are apparent. The reflections highlight the areas that I have improveed during this academic exchange, indicating a higher self-awareness and commitment to personal growth through cultural experiences. This iterative self-reflection process serves as a guide for ongoing development in my intercultural competences.

These results are related to the active components of global competence. The way of assessing my own cultural behavior, my international experience (both study-related and personal), the internationalization activities in my study program, and my actions regarding sustainability were analyzed.

The comparative analysis indicates notable positive developments in cultural behavior, with a significant increase in its score. This suggests that the experience of this academic exchange contributed to improved my adaptability in intercultural interactions. Besides, after this experience is evident that I have been able to participate in different internationalization activities. Despite a slight dip in the sustainability actions score, the commitment to pro-sustainability behaviors remains evident.
